About

Mady Sieracki was born in College Park, Pennsylvania and raised in Northern Virginia. After taking one photography class her freshmen year of high school, she fell in love with the medium. Her time spent in the darkroom helped her develop the patience and eye for film photography. She received her Bachelors of Fine Art in Photography in 2018, at the Savannah College of Art and Design, in aims to become a working artist.

Through her portraiture, she wishes to express the many emotions of the human mind through straight photography, long exposures and double exposures. These techniques help to convey the concepts behind her work. Her documentary and street work focuses on the way the human eye navigates a scene through light and shadows.

She currently resides in the D.C. area.
